About Optica Biophotonics Congress

The Optica Biophotonics Congress is the leading technical meeting on all topics related to biophotonics, where the science of light meets the technologies and practices used in biology and medicine.

The congress convenes an international community of engineers, optical and medical scientists, physicians, early-career researchers and graduate students engaged in advancing optical methods for scientific discovery and translating those discoveries into practice. By bringing related fields together within one meeting, the congress creates opportunities for interaction and collaboration among multidisciplinary groups with complementary interests, expertise and goals.

Congress History

Optica Biophotonics Congress builds on the scientific areas previously represented by Optica's Biomedical Optics and Optics in Life Sciences meetings. Today these areas are presented as topic categories within one multidisciplinary congress.
