Photonics industry plays a pivotal role in advancing zero-carbon energy solutions. This meeting will assemble experts in different fields of renewable energy production, including, solar, wind, tidal, nuclear, biofuels and hydrogen and ask them what their challenges are and what kind of solutions they need from industry. These challenges not only pertain to energy production itself, but are also related to specific aspects of renewable energies such as energy storage, smart grids and energy systems, and energy efficiency.
