Wenjun Kang is a Ph.D. student in the Wyant College of Optical Science at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on optical design related to precision freeform optics fabrication and interferometry based on-machine metrology. His work mainly involves fabrication projects research relating to precision diamond turning, glass molding-enabled design, and fabrication projects and encompassing the Nautilus Space Observatory project which involves MODE glass lens fabrication to the biomedical fundus imaging system.
