Dr. Miriam Deutsch created an NSF GRFP workshop in which she provided mentor ship to tens of students and guided us through the application process. I am indebted to her for her confidence in me as a scientist and encouragement to apply for a fellowship that I didn't believe myself worth of receiving. Thank you Miriam!
