I would like to take a chance and honor Dr. Lusine Tsarukyan who is my best partner in crime when it comes to joining efforts to spread optics and photonics knowledge in Armenia and beyond. Lusine is one of the most dedicated to her community researchers I know. Her sense of duty and motivation for helping students to find their path in optics is amazing. She is loved by everyone she works with and is considered a dear friend by all the students with whom she organizes various local and international events in Armenia.
