I would like to honor Dr. Bo Zhen for his mentoring during my undergraduate research in Prof. Marin Soljacic’s group at MIT. Apart from directly supervising me on my research projects and providing wonderful insight into the work, he has also introduced me to many modern concepts and recent results in the fields of optics and photonics, and has helped me greatly during my graduate school applications.
