Today, I'm honoring Dr. John Kitching. John is charismatic, razor-sharp in thought, and a great simplifier. He welcomed me into his group as an inexperienced student despite an all-star team of scientists and tight-deadline projects. He supported my career by encouraging me to think creatively, exposed me to cutting edge technologies and people, and taught me a culture of inclusiveness and respect. Without exaggeration, John has changed my life for the better and continues to support his team.
