Planned Giving

Gifts made through your will or estate, or by naming Optica Foundation as a beneficiary for an account, is a meaningful way for you to make a significant impact to further Optica Foundation’s mission. If you are considering naming Optica Foundation as a beneficiary in your estate or if you have any questions for us, please contact Cara Green.

Here are some common ways to include Optica Foundation in your planning.

  1. Bequests
This is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift be made to Optica Foundation as part of your estate plan.

  2. Retirement Plan, IRA Accounts, Life Insurance
For many types of accounts, you can include Optica Foundation as a beneficiary within the account. If you have any questions or if you would like to notify Optica Foundation of your planned gift intention, please contact Cara Green.

  3. Optica Foundation may also receive the following types of gifts:
    Real Estate
    Charitable Remainder Trusts
    Charitable Lead Trusts
    Pooled Income Funds

If you are considering one of these types of gifts, please contact Cara Green to discuss any questions and to let you know of any special considerations or requirements for your gift intention to ensure a smooth transfer.
