It's rare to find a diamond of a person with an unenduring spirit of perseverance, a zeal to learn new things and a keen interdisciplinary bent of mind; Madhavi belongs to a rarest family of such diamonds. She's the only one I've known who in her 2nd year of PhD has forayed into the realm of photothermal therapy from her self-fueled interest and works day and night to make her dream a reality.Her research independence and collaborative spirit at such a young age should inspire all grad students.
