I first met Gabs when I was a new and very scared first year PhD student at Imperial, where she worked in the lab next door to mine. Her broad and ever-present smile and warmth always lifted me up out of my PhD blues - from too many beers in the Holland Club to mood boosting coffees during intense periods in the lab! I don't think I could of have done it without her. Gabs is simply great, and has been an inspiration for me and so many others in our community over her diverse career. Looking forward to seeing your next contributions! Thanks for all the amazing work Gabs, can't wait to see you again soon!
