I would like to honor my mentor, Ph.D. supervisor, Professor Valery Karasik for providing me the opportunity to have а scientific career in optics. As chief of the scientific center of Photonics, he created a unique and positive environment for young scientists and productive research. His experience and knowledge taught me to solve problems, to challenge fundamental scientific problems. I am so proud and thankful to be his student and still learn a lot from him.
