On International Day of Women & Girls in STEM I am honoring professor Sonja Franke-Arnold. Outstanding physicist and group leader, she has provided continuous support and encouragement during my fellowship. Advocating for mental health and promoting diversity and inclusion in the group, she has built a welcoming environment where students and postdocs can grow as researchers and as supportive colleagues. She is a fantastic role model.
