It has been a blessing to have Dr. Hegedus as my Ph.D. advisor and would like to honor him for everything he has added to my life. His support has been instrumental in nurturing the researcher in me. He is not only a great researcher and teacher but also an amazing human being. Human values and striving for climate change solutions are the core of his professional choices which I admire the most and I am fortunate I got to work under him. I wish him and his wife Debbie the best for their future.
