Supporting student participation at CLEO.

Program Prize

USD 500 toward travel to CLEO

Funded by an endowment from Milton and Rosalind Chang, this program provides 10 grants of up to USD 500 to enable students who present papers to travel to CLEO. Grants are usually awarded to the presenter and/or first author of the paper.

Submit a paper to CLEO and opt into the competition. Learn more on the conference website.

Important Dates

Invited speakers will be reviewed by the chairs and a recipient will be determined based on the criteria of the award.

The submitting author must opt-in to the competition during the regular paper submission process and follow all of the instructions provided on the submission site.
Paper Submission Deadline: 08 December 2023

Applicant Requirements
  • Opt-in to the competition during the regular "call for papers" submission process.
  • Have an accepted paper to CLEO.
  • Demonstrate need for travel support.
  • Be a current member.
