Join Bülend Ortaç for an in-depth exploration of the complete fiber laser ecosystem, from atomic engineering of glass preforms to deployment of high-power industrial and clinical laser systems.

The webinar will cover MCVD-based rare-earth doping, prevention of devitrification and background losses, precision fiber drawing capable of producing over 100 km of polymer-coated glass fiber per day, high-power pulsed-fiber oscillators and amplifiers, specialized components including FBGs, combiners, and cladding light strippers, and customization of visible and NIR laser systems for clinical needs such as endovenous laser ablation and retinal surgery.

  • Mastering the Core: Discover how we utilize Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition (MCVD) to achieve high rare-earth doping concentrations while preventing devitrification and minimizing background losses.
  • Precision Manufacturing: A look into our fiber drawing tower, capable of producing over 100 km of polymer-coated glass fiber per day while preserving complex geometries and mechanical integrity.
  • High-Power Innovation: The engineering behind Pulsed-Fiber Oscillators, Fiber Amplifiers, and the integration of specialized components like FBGs, Combiners, and Cladding Light Strippers.
  • Clinical Frontiers: How we customize visible and NIR laser systems for specific medical needs, including endovenous laser ablation and retinal surgery, tailored to precise clinical requirements.

Subject Matter Level: Intermediate - Assumes basic knowledge of the topic
