Roger McKinlay – Challenge Director: Quantum Technologies. UKRI

Since 2018 Roger McKinlay has been leading the Quantum Technologies Challenge in Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation. The QT Challenge funds collaborative projects and early procurement and has invested over £300m to industry-led projects over the past seven years. Roger is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the IET and a past president of the Royal Institute of Navigation. He joined UKRI following a career in the defence and aerospace industries.
