About the Speaker
Ludovic Live is a multi-disciplinary professional with over ten years of experience in science, policy, and entrepreneurship. With a PhD in analytical chemistry, Dr. Live has contributed to the development of a medical technology that raised $25M and a successful bid of over $100M to establish the Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster in Ontario. Motivated by the societal impact of scientific innovation, Dr. Live is the co-founder and CEO of Affinité Instruments. This self-funded startup is developing next-generation biosensing instruments to support scientists addressing critical bioanalytical and bioindustrial challenges. Affinité's innovations are used worldwide, including in organizations such as NASA, Novo Nordisk, and Harvard.
