The 2026 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Optics and Photonics in Medicine and Biology will explore novel advances in optical sciences that are transforming disease diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy. Reflecting the theme "Enabling Technologies and Clinical Applications to Advance Science and Medicine with Light", we continue a longstanding 60-year GRC tradition of bringing together an interdisciplinary group of physicists, biologists, chemists, mathematicians, engineers, clinicians, and industry leaders to advance healthcare through biophotonics. Sessions will span cutting-edge research from fundamental optical technologies to transformative clinical applications. Topics include wave-based imaging, AI-driven computational biophotonics, nature-inspired photonic systems, neurophotonics, nano-photonic theranostics, microscopy frontiers, clinical biophotonics, optical biosensors for affordable point-of-care applications, and functional biophotonics.
