OIDA Workshop on State of the Art Integrated Photonics
Managed by Optica
05 November 2014
This workshop continues a series of OIDA workshops that reviews the state of the art in photonic integration in optical communications. It aims to address several questions: How does photonic integration address the emerging business needs of optical communications? What is the experience of deployment? What are the novel integration concepts and what are the key challenges in productization? Which forms of integration match specific applications within communications? What are some of the new and noteworthy products being commercialized today? The workshop will examine the commercialization of components and subsystems and their applications, as opposed to purely research achievements in photonic integration. The workshop will discuss applications across telecom and data center networks.
