9 W Erbium-Doped Dual-Wavelength Pumped All-Fiber Laser at 3.55 μm (AM4A.2)

A dual-wavelength pumped Er3+:ZrF4 all-fiber laser generating a maximum output power of 8.82 W at 3.55 μm is reported. Experimental results supported by a numerical modeling based on the population dynamics are presented.

Thermally Tunable All-Fiber Laser Operating at 3.24 µm for Remote Sensing of Methane (AM4A.3)

We report on a tunable all-fiber dysprosium continuous wave laser operating around 3.24 µm, based on a counter-propagating pumping scheme. The system producing 1.1 W of output power will find applications in methane imaging and spectroscopy.

Femtosecond All-PM Nd-Doped Fiber Laser Operated Near 910nm. (AM4A.4)

We report a MOPA laser system near 910nm employing Nd-doped PM-fibers and a SESAM for mode-locking. SPM-induced spectral broadening in a W-type Nd-doped fiber amplifier allows pulse recompression to 300fs and pulse energy of 11nJ.

Kilowatt Cladding-Pumped Random Distributed-Feedback Raman Fiber Laser (AM4A.5)

The first cladding-pumped random distributed-feedback Raman fiber laser based on all-fiberized half-open cavity is demonstrated to our best knowledge. The record output power of 1 kW at 1132 nm is achieved with improved beam quality.

Visible to Mid-Infrared Supercontinuum Generation in a Gas Fiber Raman Laser (AM4A.6)

A multiband supercontinuum with spectral coverage from 0.65 to 3.3 μm is demonstrated in D2-filled revolver-type hollow-core fiber. About 15 % of pump quanta were converted to wavelengths above 2 μm.

Monolithic Praseodymium-Doped Fiber Laser at 635 nm (AM4A.7)

We report the first demonstration of a monolithic fiber laser in the visible. The laser cavity, based on a double-clad praseodymium-doped fiber, yields a record output power of 2.3 W at 635.5 nm.
