Join Zemax CTO Sanjay Gangadhara as he reviews recent innovations in the optics and photonics industry and discusses how these innovations are being driven by key technologies such as diffractive optics and computational imaging. Dr. Gangadhara will also describe how simulation of these technologies enables rapid advancements in applications from data communications to LIDAR, medical imaging to mixed reality.
About Our Speaker: Sanjay Gangadhara, Zemax
Tasked with strategic planning and technical development of all Zemax software solutions, Sanjay leads a cross-functional team of engineers, physicists, and software developers. His background in general physics, electromagnetism, and optical systems diagnostics has served him well in his various roles at Zemax, including optical scientist, senior analyst, developer, director of R&D, and now Chief Technology Officer. Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering & Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Nuclear Science & Engineering from MIT.
