Advanced 3D Optical Profiler
In 2022, Santec introduces a new 3D optical scanner based on a Swept Source and Interferometric Detection technique, the OPS-1000. Designed to support R&D and production environments, the OPS-1000 delivers high speed, high accuracy, non-contact 3D measurements regardless of target's shape, material, or color. The OPS-1000 optical profiler captures surfaces that other profilers may miss. A review of the optical technology that underpin the OPS-1000 performance as well as examples of measurements taken with the system will be presented.
Jonathan Evans, President, Santec USA Corporation
Jonathan Evans is the VP of Sales and Marketing for Santec USA. With Santec since 2001, Jonathan now has responsibility for managing Santec's sales operations in the North America including those in Photonics Test and Measurement, Optical Components, Imaging and Medical markets. Throughout his career, Jonathan has been an advocate for optical technologies in a wide range of applications, a passion developed while attaining his Ph.D. in Laser Physics at the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
