Ahmed Abumazwed, Staff Scientist, Photonics, CMC Microsystems
Ahmed Abumazwed is a staff scientist in the photonics group at CMC Microsystems. Prior to CMC Microsystems, Ahmed was an optical design lead of Versawave division of Optelian Access Networks (Now DZS Inc.). Before Optelian, Ahmed worked for OZ Optics as optical designer. Ahmed received his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from McGill University, Canada, where he worked on plasmonic sensors. He obtained his MSc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Concordia University, Canada and BSc from College of Electronic Technology, Libya.
