I am delighted to have supervised Dr. Alessandra Carmichael Martins in her PhD on digital micromirror devices for visual optics and wavefront sensing. Her drive towards research excellence and passion for optical science and education is second to none. Thank you for being an excellent role model, your recent OSA Student Chapter Presidency and efforts in bringing IONS 2021 to Ireland. You and other bright minds who have graduated from our lab are the primus motor of our research.
