OSA Vision and Color Technical Division Data Blitz Series!

15 July 2020 12:00 - 13:30

Eastern Time (US & Canada) (UTC -05:00)

You’re invited to join the technical groups of the OSA Vision and Color Technical Division for their Data Blitz Series every week in July. Each week’s session will feature a series of short talks followed by lots of time for questions and discussion.

The theme for this week’s session is ‘Advances in Adaptive Optics Retinal Imaging for Understanding Disease’ and will feature the following talks:

  • Enlarged retinal pigment epithelial cells observed in Stargardt disease assessed by adaptive optics enhanced indocyanine green ophthalmoscopy presented by Tao Liu, National Institutes of Health
  • Label-free adaptive optics imaging of single immune cell dynamics and vascular response in retinal inflammation presented by Aby Joseph, University of Rochester
  • Structural changes of retinal arterioles in diabetes presented by Kaitlyn Anne Sapoznik, Indiana University
  • Adaptive Optics Assessment of Foveal Cone Structure in Blue Cone Monochromacy presented by Emily J. Patterson, University College London
  • Label-free adaptive optics imaging of human retinal microglia distribution and dynamics presented by Daniel Hammer, U.S. Food and Drug Administration
  • Using OCT to predict AOSLO success in achromatopsia presented by Katie M. Litts, Medical College of Wisconsin
  • Photoreceptor Phenotype in GUCA1A-associated cone-rod dystrophy presented by Yu You Jiang, University of Pennsylvania
  • Adaptive optics imaging of porcine photoreceptors to determine efficacy of iPSC-derived retinal transplants presented by Dara Baker, George Washington University
  • In Vivo Dynamic Histology of the Retinal Microvasculature in Sickle Cell Patients: AOSLO Vascular Imaging as a Correlate to OCT Angiography presented by Alexander Pinhas, New York Eye and Ear
  • Adaptive optics near infrared autofluorescence imaging of Torpedo maculopathy presented by Ethan A. Rossi, University of Pittsburgh

Our moderator will be Jessica I. W. Morgan, University of Pennsylvania, Chair of the OSA Clinical Vision Sciences Technical Group.
