Emerging Economies: Waivers and Discounts
Optica Members residing in Low- and Lower-Middle Income countries (as defined by the World Bank) are eligible for free, waived registration to Optica Meetings. Choose to attend in person or participate online. Non-members from these countries receive substantial registration discounts for virtual participation only.

Advance Registration Deadline

Payment MUST be received with your registration form or with your online registration; NO Registration will be processed without payment. All payments must be in US Dollars. Registrations received after 23:59 EST (UTC-05:00), on Monday, 20 June 2022, will be charged the Standard rate. Upon receipt of your registration and payment, a confirmation letter will be e-mailed to each registrant. PAYMENT ISSUES WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF YOUR REGISTRATION.

Policies and Terms of Registration

Reasonable Event Policies and Terms have been established. We encourage you to read these carefully as all registrants to the Congress will be required to agree to these policies and terms as a condition of registration.

Privacy Policy

Optica respects the privacy rights of our visitors and recognize the importance of protecting all information that you may choose to share with us. To further this commitment, we have adopted this Privacy Policy to guide how we collect, store and use the information you provide to us.

Change and Cancellation Policy

Virtual Full Conference registrants can change to In-Person Full Conference participation at any time before or during the congress. The difference in the registration rate is assessed based on when the original registration was completed:

  • Register before/on 20 June: Receive the comparable early registration rate for In-Person participation.
  • Register after 20 June: Receive the comparable regular registration rate for In-Person participation.

In-Person Full Conference registrants can change to Virtual Full Conference participation through Monday, 27 June 2022. The refunded difference is based on when the original registration was completed and when the change request is submitted:

  • Register before/on 20 June and submit a change request before/on 20 June: Receive a refund for the difference between the early registration rates for In-Person and Virtual participation.
  • Register before/on 20 June and submit a change request after 20 June: Receive a refund for the difference between the early registration rate for In-Person participation and the regular registration rate for Virtual participation.
  • Register after 20 June and submit a change request after 20 June: Receive a refund for the difference between the regular registration rates for In-Person and Virtual participation.

Note: Any changes must be made by contacting the Registration Team. Please allow four to six weeks to process a refund request.

Cancelling a Registration: Refund requests must be received in writing by Monday, 27 June 2022. A processing service charge of USD 75 will be assessed. Cancellation requests submitted after Monday, 27 June 2022 WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Please allow four to six weeks to process a refund request.

Payment and Refund Information

Credit cards are accepted (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club).

Checks and Money Orders — All checks must be in US Dollars and made payable to Optica. Please indicate the check number on the registration form.

Bank Drafts and Wire Transfers — Please indicate on your registration form which bank was used and when the deposit was made. Also, please notify Optica of the transfer to avoid any lost or unidentified payments.
