Optica Laser Congress and Exhibition

To apply for an Optica Foundation Student Paper Prize, you must opt in during the paper submission process to be considered.

The ASSL Sources Committee and the ASSL Materials Committee will select two finalists each from the list of individuals who have opted in for the award. Student Paper Prize finalists will be indicated online and in the meeting app.

An Award Committee will attend the presentations of each of the finalists. One Student Paper Prize winner per subcommittee will be selected to receive a free registration toward a future 2022 Optica Meeting. Winners will be announced at the congress closing session.

Funding for the Student Paper Prize is supplied by the Optica Foundation. IPG has generously offered a Student Poster Award for ASSL poster presenters. Monetary prizes will be determined by an Awards Committee during the presentation, and the winners will be announced during the closing session.
