Election for 2024 Offices
We are pleased to announce that Gisele Bennett, MEPSS LLC, USA was elected by Optica members to serve as the society's 2024 Vice President.
Her four-year commitment to Optica's Board of Directors consists of serving one year as vice president in 2024, followed by one year as president-elect in 2025, president in 2026 and past president in 2027.
Members also elected Martin J. Booth, University of Oxford, United Kingdom, and Caroline Boudoux, Polytechnique Montréal, Canada to serve as Directors at Large on the Board of Directors for 2024-2026.
The results were announced at Optica's Annual Business Meeting during the 2023 Frontiers in Optics and Laser Science (FiO + LS) conference held on 9 - 11 October.
Bennett, Booth, and Boudoux will begin their terms on 01 January 2024.
