Dr. Steve Sanders is Senior Engineering Director at Quantinuum, where he leads the design and development of commercial-scale trapped-ion quantum computers. He joined Quantinuum in 2017 to head the research and development team delivering industry-first advances in SPAM fidelity, two-qubit gate performance, scalable ion transport, and quantum volume. Today, Steve focuses on scaling quantum compute capabilities while advancing manufacturability and system reliability, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and robust commercial deployment.
