About the Speaker
Stijn Cuyvers holds MSc degrees in electrical engineering from Ghent University (2018) and Columbia University (2019). From 2019 until early 2023, he worked as a PhD researcher at the Photonics Research Group of Ghent University - IMEC, focusing primarily on silicon nitride integrated photonics and heterogeneous integration based on micro-transfer printing. After his PhD, Stijn joined LIGENTEC in 2023 as an Application engineer, transitioning to his current role in 2025. As a Technical Sales & Project Manager, Stijn plays a key role in technical sales, strategic business development, and customer project management, supporting clients with state-of–the-art product development based on LIGENTEC’s PIC technologies.
