About the Speaker
Dr Friederike Jöhlinger is a Photonics and Application Engineer at Wave Photonics, a start-up specialising in high-performance PDK development, which she joined in 2022 as the only 2nd employee at the time after a PhD in Quantum Engineering at the University of Bristol. During her time at Wave Photonics she has worked in various areas including component and PIC design and developed and given PIC design training to students and people from industry. She has been instrumental in developing new products such as the PDK Management platform.
