Wayne G. Norton graduated from the University of Rochester in 1941 with a degree in optics. He worked at Optical Gaging Products and Eastman Kodak Company for most of his career. He received the 1946 Adolph Lomb Medal from the Society. 

Norton passed away in 2009.
