Kelly Cohen attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her BA in Radio, TV, Motion Pictures, and Speech Communications in 1991. The following year, she joined The Optical Society. Today, she is Senior Publisher at Optica Publishing Group. She received the 2021 Treasurer’s Award “For her strong leadership, ingenuity, and resourcefulness in leading many successful OSA Publishing initiatives.”
